13. Vitamin B2 (riboflavin)
Vitamin B2, which is also known as riboflavin, also helps to keep your nervous system healthy. It protects your skin and eyes when taken regularly. Like vitamin B1, it also helps to break down food and release energy from it. Make sure to drink milk and eat eggs, fortified breakfast cereals and rice to get enough vitamin B2 in your diet. But make sure to store food rich in riboflavin away from direct sunlight as UV light can destroy the vitamin.
